  3. Kris Letang Adds two assists as the Pens take a 2-0 series lead on the Sens

Three Stars for May 15, 2013

  1. Jonathan Quick Was spectacular in making 35 saves to capture his sixth career playoff shutout. LA goes up 1-0 on San Jose with a 2-0 victory
  2. Evgeni Malkin Extends his point streak to seven games with a goal and an assist as Pittsburgh takes game 1 4-1 over Ottawa
  3. Tomas Vokoun Stopped 35 shots to capture his third straight win since replacing starter Marc-Andre Fleury. This was arguably the biggest win in Vokoun's career.

Three Stars for May 11, 2013

  1. Henrick Zetterberg Ends seven game scoreless drought scoring two goals including overtime winner to force a game seven in Anaheim. Zetterberg now has 52 career playoff goals as the RedWings defeat the Ducks 4-3. Zetterberg also added an assist.
  2. Mike Ribeiro Scores his first playoff goal since 2008 when he was a member of the Dallas Stars. Overtime goal lifts Washington to a 2-1 win and a 3-2 series lead over the Rangers
  3. Jonathan Quick Quick was the difference once again holding on to a third period lead to finish off the Blues in six game. Quick stopped 167 of the 177 shots he saw in the series

  1. David Krejci Scores at 13:06 of overtime to complete the hat trick to give Boston a 4-3 win over Toronto and a 3-1 series lead
  2. Jeff Carter Kings sniper scores twice en route to a 3-2 overtime win. LA heads home with a 3-2 series lead
  3. Nick Bonino Scores game winning overtime goal for a 3-2 Anaheim victory over Detroit. The Ducks lead the series 3-2

Three Stars for May 6, 2013

  1. Jean-Gabriel Pageau Becomes fifth youngest player in NHL history to record a playoff hat trick before his 21st birthday as the Sens roll over the Habs 6-1 to take a 2-1 series lead
  2. Logan Couture Scores twice to give the Sharks a 5-2 win and put Vancouver on the brink of elimination
  3. Sidney Crosby Scores three assists in a 5-4 OT win over the Islanders. The Pens go 3/5 on the PP as they take a 2-1 series lead

  1. Michael Frolik Scores two goals including Chicago's first shorthanded goal since the 2011 Western Conference quarter finals to lead the Blackhawks to a 5-2 win over Minnesota. Chicago leads the series 2-0
  2. Kyle Okposo Gets in scrap before scoring game winner with 7:37 to play to even the series at 1–1. The Islanders spoil the return of Sidney Crosby with a 4-3 victory
  3. Raffi Torres Scores overtime winning goal 5:31 into extra session as the Sharks head home with a 2-0 series lead on Vancouver

Three Stars for May 2, 2013

  1. Marc-Andre Fleury Stops all 26 shots he faced to earn his sixth career playoff shutout tying Tom Barrasso's franchise record. Ten different Penguins players scored at least one point in their 5-0 win over the Islanders to take a 1-0 series lead
  2. Dan Boyle Boyle scores the tie breaker midway through the third period leading the Sharks to a 3-1 win over Vancouver. The Canucks have lost five straight home playoff games and trail San Jose 1-0 in the series
  3. Wade Redden Veteran Dman, playing in his first playoff game since 2009, scores his first playoff goal since 2007. Redden also assisted on the game winner as the Bruins take a 1-0 series lead on Toronto.

Three Stars for May 1, 2013

  1. Alex Steen Scored two goals including shorthanded overtime winner to give St. Louis a 2-1 victory and a 1-0 series lead over Los Angeles
  2. Bryan Bickell Scores the overtime winner 16:35 into extra session to give Chicago a 2-1 win over Minnesota. Eight of the last nine Blackhawks playoff games have gone into OT. Chicago leads series over Minnesota 1-0
  3. Teemu Selanne 42 year old continues to make a difference scoring the game winner early in the third period to give Anaheim a 3-1 victory over Detroit. Selanne becomes the second oldest player to score a game winning goal in the Stanley Cup playoffs

Three Stars for April 27, 2013

  1. Ryan Miller Miller became the 20th NHL goalie to play 500 games with one team as the Sabres get past the Islanders 2-1 in a shootout
  2. Keith Yandle Yandle leads the Coyotes with three assists in what could have been the final game ever played in the desert. The Coyotes ended up losing the game 5-4 to Colorado
  3. Jordan Eberle Eberle leads the way with one goal and two assists in a 6-1 rout of the Minnesota Wild

Three Stars for April 22, 2013

  1. Mark Letestu Columbus forward scores twice while adding an assist to lead the Blue Jackets to a 4-3 road win over San Jose. Columbus now has 51 points and is tied for seventh place in the Western Conference
  2. Dustin Brown Scores two goals in a 4-3 overtime win over Dallas. The Kings are now two points ahead of San Jose and sit in fourth place in the West
  3. Tuukka Rask Stops all 28 Florida shots to lead Boston into a first place tie in the Northeast division. Rask secures his fourth shutout of the year
