There are three games scheduled in minor league hockey on Saturday, two in the AHL and one in the WHL.
 
AHL
 
Portland Pirates at Binghamton Senators--Binghamton leads 2-0
 
Tonight, the baby Sens' will play for a 3-0 lead in the Atlantic Division championships in front of their home crowd, against the Pirates.
 
Zack Smith is the player to watch from Binghamton, and Mark Mancari from Portland.
 
Charlotte Checkers at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins--Charlotte leads 1-0
 
Game 2 of this series can sway momentum to either team. A win for Charlotte, and they will be given a major boost heading home for the next few games. If the Penguins win, the series is evened, and they will hold the momentum.
 
Zac Dalpe is the player to watch from Charlotte, and Brett Sterling from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
 
WHL
 
Spokane Chiefs at Portland Winterhawks--Series tied 2-2
 
Game 5 will be crucial to this series, as it may decide the winner. Portland will host the game 5 of the back-and-forth series, in hopes of acquiring the series lead.
 
Players to watch are Ryan Johanson from Portland, and Levko Koper from Spokane.
