Legace Going Wild?

Sep 28

The Minnesota Wild are in search of a backup goaltender, preferably one with NHL experience. Veteran netminder Manny Legace certainly fits that job desription and is receiving interest from Wild GM Chuck Fletcher. Today is actually Legace's first day in camp with the New York Islanders who are giving him an opportunity to stay sharp as opposed to just sitting around. Garth Snow has told Legace he will let him walk if an offer from another team comes his way.

Wild backup Josh Harding is out for the season after tearing multiple knee ligaments last Friday in a pre-season game in St. Louis.
