David Frost Caught Using Alias In California

Sep 28

We have officially had our first Frost of the year.

Former highly controversial NHL agent David Frost, famous for being the man identified by the U.S. Government as the intended target of former St. Louis Blues forward Mike Danton, has been spotted in Southern California.

Only this time Frost is going by a different name.

Multiple sources confirm that Frost is working at the Laguna Hockey Academy and is going by the name of Jim McCauley, the maiden name of his wife Bridget.

Former client Adam Keefe is one of the main instructors at the academy which specializes in off-ice ice-hockey training. Robert Barth, a California native and  long time associate of Frost gong back to his coaching days in Ontario, is apparently heavily involved in the academy as well.

I’m told by several people that Frost can be spotted at the academy daily and introduces himself as Jim. A Mike Danton St. Louis Blues jersey even hangs high inside the facility.

Danton is currently playing University hockey in Nova Scotia after spending several years in a U.S Federal prison for allegedly trying to kill his former agent.

Frost and his pack of hockey players have roots in Southern California as they trained and worked in the area long before Danton was ever arrested.

Many of Frost’s former junior players have relocated to Southern California although many of them have cut ties with Frost.

One parent after getting wind of who “Jim McCauley” might be did some research only to find a picture of Frost on the internet.

“He’s been deceiving people for nearly six months” says a parent whose son trains at the academy. When asked if he will continue sending his son there he responded, “Not anymore”.

Sources say the business is in the process of transitioning the name to "McCauley Hockey Academy".
